Position: Ru Yi Lead Cook
About: RuYi, a high-energy and fast-paced establishment, is seeking a dedicated RuYi Lead Cook to join their back-of-house team. The Lead Cook will play a crucial role in overseeing food preparation, ensuring quality and guest satisfaction, and upholding the venue’s standards and values.
Requirements: The ability to demonstrate intermediate to advanced cooking skills is required; a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience are required; previous supervisory experience is preferred; the ability to successfully achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days; the ability to successfully complete Culinary Academy within 12 months; office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and general computer skills; the ability to use basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and counting using whole numbers and fractions; the ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information; the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members, including speaking in front of small groups; the ability to work irregular hours, extended shifts, late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays; physical ability to stand, sit, walk, lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on duty.
