Position: Room Attendant – Microtel-Columbus, GA
About: Room Attendants at Wyndham Hotels are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and surrounding corridors, accommodating guests’ needs with a courteous and pleasant response to ensure a comfortable stay.
Requirements: Complete all required brand specific training; Complete all required Wyndham University training; Complete all required health and safety training; Adhere to all Auburn Hospitality and property specific brand standards; Perform any other duties as requested by management to aid in hotel operations; Provide personalized, friendly service to guests and associates; Clean guest rooms and public areas, reporting deficiencies to maintenance; Maintain neat beds with fresh linens; Pick up trash, vacuum, and empty waste cans; Clean mirrors, shelves, furniture, and dust surfaces; Deep clean one room daily; Clean and disinfect bathrooms thoroughly; Replenish supplies in rooms and place clean towels; Vacuum each room and hallway; Report room statuses accurately; Knowledge of fire alarm and evacuation procedures; Responsible for security of guests, employees, and hotel assets; Provide assistance to guests, employees, and other departments; Maintain confidentiality; Have dependable transportation; Communicate effectively; Work flexible schedules; Be organized, honest, outgoing, and work well with others; Maintain a clean work area and appearance; Work with people from diverse backgrounds.
