Position: RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR
About: The Watermark Baton Rouge is a part of the Marriott’s Autograph Collection and is seeking a full-time Outlet (Restaurant) Supervisor to oversee the service in the Food and Beverage Outlets, including The Gregory, an upscale restaurant offering Southern cuisine, and Milford’s on Third, a New York City style deli with Southern-charmed offerings. The supervisor will report to the Director of Food & Beverage and will be responsible for training, motivating, and coaching staff, as well as monitoring expenses and controlling labor costs.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred; at least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required, previous supervisory responsibility preferred; ability to convey information clearly and evaluate alternative courses of action quickly; effective listening and understanding skills in handling guest objections and disputes; ability to work with financial information and ensure menu quality control
