Position: Restaurant Host – Flexible Schedule / Golf Privileges
About: The Greenway Tap Restaurant at the Preserve at Oak Meadows Golf Course in Addison, IL is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team. The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County provides opportunities for people to connect with nature through its many forest preserves, trails, rivers, and nature centers. With a mission to protect and preserve the flora, fauna, and scenic beauty for the education and recreation of citizens, the district welcomes over 6 million visitors annually.
Requirements: Must be 16 years of age or older at the time of hire; Food Handler Training and certification within 30 days of employment; First Aid, CPR, AED certification within six (6) months of employment; Previous experience in a casual/upscale casual restaurant setting preferred; Knowledge of food safety and service procedures and sanitation guidelines; Proficiency in conflict resolution to address customer concerns effectively; Must possess a customer service-oriented attitude, dedicated to ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests; Preferred experience in high-volume hosting; Strong troubleshooting and conflict management skills; Ability to work quickly and with great accuracy and attention to detail; Collaboration and dedication to team goals; Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining productive working relationships
