Position: Restaurant General Manager
About: The Restaurant General Manager at LGA is responsible for establishing and maintaining guest service in a full service and/or quick service operations setting within the airport. The position includes managing staff, delivering outstanding hospitality, controlling costs, ensuring cleanliness, and following company policies. This role reports directly to the Director of Airport Operations at SSP.
Requirements: Minimum of three (3) years of increased restaurant/food service management and/or franchise operations experience with direct P&L responsibilities; Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Point-of-Sale (POS) systems; BS or AS degree strongly preferred, or equivalent coursework; Full Service and/or Quick Service restaurant experience preferred; Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively with all levels of management; Proven track record of resolving uncomfortable situations and managing conflict effectively; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to prioritize daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activities effectively; Successful completion of pre-employment TSA background check
