The Restaurant Chef position at Bamboo8 restaurant involves overall kitchen operations management, team leadership, food quality control, cost management, and sanitation upkeep.
Requirements: Culinary Diploma from an accredited institution with an emphasis on Chinese Cuisine, or a 3-year approved apprenticeship in the 4 classic Chinese cuisines and 5 to 7 years experience as a chef in a high volume Authentic Chinese restaurant with exposure to Vietnamese cuisine; excellent interpersonal skills; bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese and English; ability to lift and carry 40 lbs; possession of a valid food workers card; willingness to work in a smoking environment; adherence to company health and safety measures
