Position: Resort Sous Chef

About: At Great Wolf, the Resort Sous Chef works in a fast-paced, exciting environment to deliver on their commitment to high-quality hospitality. The Sous Chef manages the operations of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef, oversees food preparation, inventory levels, scheduling, and employee training. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include directing food preparation and presentation, maintaining health department codes, hiring, training, and supervising kitchen staff, contributing to menu creation, ensuring food quality, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations. Basic Qualifications & Skills: High school degree or equivalent, 3+ years of restaurant kitchen experience, flexible scheduling, and successful background check. Desired Qualifications & Traits: Culinary education degree, supervisory experience, equipment maintenance knowledge, hotel/resort kitchen experience, sanitation understanding, teamwork skills, professional image, and positive energy. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for long periods.

Requirements: High school degree or equivalent; 3+ years experience in restaurant kitchen(s); flexible scheduling based on business demands, including nights, weekends, and Holidays; successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
