About: Aloha Wellness Center, located at 239 Haili St. downtown Hilo, in Hilo, The Big Island, Hawaii, is currently seeking a Chef with expertise in preparing raw foods and juicing using the Norwalk juicer. The center focuses primarily on the Raw Food Detox Diet and the Therapeutic Cancer Diet – The Gerson Diet, where juicing plays a significant role in both dietary programs. Collaboration with naturopathic doctors to leverage the medicinal properties of food is central to the center’s mission, emphasizing the critical role of food in their medical therapies. The ideal candidate should maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen environment.
Requirements: Experience in preparing raw foods and juicing using the Norwalk juicer; interest in learning the Gerson Diet and the therapeutic value of raw food; ability to maintain an organized and exceptionally clean kitchen environment
