Position: Public Involvement Coordinator II – CPPW
About: The Portland Bureau of Transportation is seeking a Public Involvement Coordinator for the Capital Delivery Division. This position involves developing and implementing public involvement strategies for transportation capital improvement projects in partnership with various departments and community groups. The coordinator will ensure inclusive and effective public engagement throughout the project lifecycle, including organizing meetings, creating web-based content, and fostering relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements: Experience developing and implementing public involvement strategies for government projects; Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively; Experience in creating and editing web-based content; Knowledge of urban transportation infrastructure design principles; Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
