Position: Production Manager – Seafood Processing
About: Four Star Seafood, a leading provider of fresh, high-quality seafood to restaurants, chefs, and consumers in the Bay Area, is seeking a Production Manager to oversee all aspects of the production process. The company is committed to sustainability practices and is known for its hospitality-focused approach within a close-knit team environment.
Requirements: At least 2-3 years of leadership experience managing teams of 5-10 people; prior experience working directly with seafood and proficiency in fish cutting; proven experience in a production management role, preferably in a seafood or meat production environment; strong leadership and team management skills; excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities; solid understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations; strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in data analysis and inventory management systems; commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence; self-motivated with high attention to detail; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google products; ability to learn quickly, adapt, and manage others effectively; trustworthy with a strong work ethic and integrity; fluent English speaker, bilingual a plus; availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
