Position: Primary Care Physician – MD – Medical Director

Requirements: Graduate from an accredited school of medicine and is a Doctor of Medicine; Two or more years of administrative leadership experience in healthcare; Clinical medical experience of seven years or more preferred; Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatrics; qualification in Geriatrics preferred; Practicing physician currently licensed under the provisions of the State Board of Medicine; Active unrestricted licensure to practice in state of employment; Current Drug Enforcement Administration registration; Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare support staff; Ability to treat patients and their families with compassion and understanding; Ability to work for long periods of time with patients who need special attention; Ability to display patience with children and adult patients who fear medical treatment; Excellent computer and electronic record-keeping skills; Excellent organizational and management skills; Excellent decision-making, problem-solving and cognitive abilities
