Position: Preschool Chef
About: Cooks at The Learning Experience prepare nutritionally balanced, attractive family-style meals for children. This establishment focuses on childcare, ensuring children’s nutritional needs are met while spreading happiness throughout the center. The cooks follow set menus, order food within budget constraints, and comply with state and federal nutritional guidelines for children.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; ECE coursework preferred; relevant experience in a licensed childcare facility kitchen, commercial kitchen, public school cafeteria, or equivalent; must meet state-specific guidelines for the role; physical resilience to stand and walk for extended periods, lift objects up to 40 pounds, and work in varying temperatures from 20F to 95F
