About: The Learning Experience in Hackensack, NJ is seeking dedicated and energetic Cooks to prepare nutritionally balanced meals for children while upholding state and federal nutritional requirements. The ideal candidate will spread happiness throughout the center and ensure that every child’s dietary needs are met with care and attention to detail.
Requirements: Must meet state specific guidelines High School Diploma/ GED required; Relevant experience in a licensed childcare facility kitchen, commercial kitchen, public school cafeteria or equivalent; Must meet state specific guidelines for the role; Proven judgment to identify and address potential risks in a childcare setting; Demonstrates physical resilience to meet the demands of the job
