Position: Prepared Foods Team Member (Dishwasher)
About: Metropolitan Market, a grocery store in Proctor (Tacoma), is seeking team members for their Prepared Foods Department. This role involves engaging with customers, fulfilling orders, maintaining food displays, and ensuring self-serve areas are clean and well-stocked. The environment is fast-paced, requiring individuals to prioritize tasks and provide excellent customer service by delivering fresh, nourishing meals.
Requirements: High level of self-motivation and initiative; proven success working in a diverse team environment; ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously; excellent time management and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and oral communication skills; knowledge of food safety, HACCP/Department of Health guidelines, inventory control, and merchandising; one year of customer service experience and one year of food service experience
