About: Clarke Thomas located at 121 Hellgate Circle, Wards Island, Manhattan, NY 10035, is seeking a Porter to work in one of HELP USA’s shelters for people experiencing homelessness. The role involves maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment for residents during their stay, including cleaning, maintenance tasks, and minor repairs.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience and skills; ability to lift 75 pounds; proficiency with small machinery, power tools, and hand tools; experience in maintenance (preferred); basic knowledge of wiring, boilers, and plumbing (preferred)
