Position: Pei Wei Restaurant Shift Leader-Hospitality/Culinary
About: Pei Wei is currently seeking Shift Leaders to directly assist the Management teams and play a critical role in the success of their restaurants. Shift Leaders share the responsibility for training and guiding the behaviors of other team members, working in all aspects of the restaurant from guest service to kitchen execution. The ability to understand and use back-office systems is crucial, and being comfortable as a leader is essential as Shift Leaders may need to take the lead role in the absence of Management.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Certified/trained in Culinary and Front-of-the-House Operations with 6 months shift lead experience for external candidates or 4 months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates; Competent in effectively communicating and coaching team members; Demonstrates customer focus, self-motivation, and the ability to handle difficult situations; Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift objects up to 30 lbs, and have accurate hearing and vision
