Position: Patient Concierge Representative-CHOR Pavilion-Days
About: The Patient Concierge Representative role involves coordinating and scheduling appointments, serving as a primary point of contact for patients with initial consults, treatment plans (e.g. infusion, outpatient diagnostic services) across multiple locations and services. The position also includes ensuring all medical records and documents are in order, obtaining preauthorizations, managing patient cancellations, and providing top-notch customer service to patients, families, medical staff, and colleagues.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent; minimum of two (2) years of previous patient scheduling/registration work experience in a healthcare setting; strong customer service skills and patient/customer-centered focus; three (3) years’ work experience with medical insurance, HMO, managed care, GE/IDX, Cerner order entry, appointment scheduling, and medical terminology preferred
