Position: Patient Concierge Representative – Ambulatory – Days
About: The Patient Concierge Representative position involves coordinating and scheduling appointments and serving as the primary point of contact for patients with initial consults/appointments, treatment plans, and outpatient diagnostic services across multiple locations. The role focuses on ensuring all necessary documents are in order for thorough evaluation, obtaining preauthorizations, managing patient cancellations, and providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and medical staff.
Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent; minimum 2 years of patient scheduling/registration experience in a healthcare setting; strong customer service skills; familiarity with medical insurance, HMO, managed care, appointment scheduling, and medical terminology; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
