Position: Pastry Cook II – Regent Santa Monica Beach
About: Regent Santa Monica Beach, the first IHG Hotels & Resorts property in Santa Monica, opening in 2024, aims to set a new standard for modern upper luxury. Situated near the Santa Monica Pier, the resort offers sumptuous accommodations, a beachfront pool deck, a spa, and a wellness center. Guests can indulge in epicurean experiences at the restaurant and artisanal marketplace.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant or hotel preferred; High school diploma or equivalent education; Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds; Knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards; Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Basic knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes; Willingness to assist in other areas when necessary and reasonably requested; Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
