About: The Glass Light Hotel and Gallery in downtown Norfolk is seeking a Pastry Cook to join their team. The pastry cook is responsible for the daily preparation, production, and finishing of all pastry and desserts served at the Glass Light Hotel & Gallery. They may be involved in various techniques and stations within the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness and upholding high operational standards.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in pastry preparation and production preferred; familiarity with classic and modern pastry techniques; ability to work in a team environment; flexible schedule availability; physical ability to stand for long periods, lift objects, and reach overhead; attention to detail and food safety standards
