Position: Pastry Cook
About: We are looking for a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and creating delicious pastries in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in the food industry; Knowledge of pastry and baking techniques; Familiarity with culinary tools including knives and mixers; Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines; Experience in catering or large-scale food production is a plus; Expertise in a wide variety of baking and pastry techniques; Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; An associate’s degree or equivalent education and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hotel, resort, or high-end restaurant; Experience working with various decorative media such as sugar and chocolate; Strong knowledge of food cost control strategies
