Position: Pastry Cook
About: ASM – Tucson Convention Center, located at 260 S. Church Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701, is seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join their team. The establishment offers a fast-paced, physical environment where the Pastry Chef will have the opportunity to create amazing pastries, breads, and desserts from scratch while maintaining high standards of quality and service. The Pastry Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold sanitation and health regulations.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent; certification of culinary training or apprenticeship preferred; 1-3 years of kitchen/mixing experience; high level of pastry skills and operations; able to plan and prepare products; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; work independently with judgment and initiative; valid Food Handler’s Card required within 30 days; flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
