Position: Pastry Cook
About: Bass Pro Shops is seeking a dedicated Pastry Cook to create a variety of baked goods for their dining and retail outlets on the property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for measuring, weighing, preparing ingredients accurately, monitoring baking processes, training new staff, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a clean baking environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Trade, Tech, or Vocational Education in Culinary Arts – Baking & Pastry preferred; ServSafe Food Handler Certification; 3-5 years of experience; Strong knowledge and skills in various dough preparations including breads, pizzas, pastries, cakes, and sauces; Familiarity with cake decorating techniques; Ability to operate kitchen baking equipment safely and efficiently; Excellent customer service and teamwork skills; Interest in producing high-quality artisanal bread
