Position: Pastry Chef job
About: Singh Development Company is seeking a dedicated Pastry Chef to prepare all desserts and baked goods, ensuring a high-quality culinary experience for residents. This role involves creating a variety of baked items like bread, pastries, pizza, cakes, and pies while adhering to set recipes and production standards. The Pastry Chef must focus on flavor, texture, and consistency to maintain quality. Reporting to the Culinary Supervisor or Service Director, this position requires creativity, attention to detail, efficiency, and customer service skills in dessert execution.
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume pastry or bakery operation, preferably as a Pastry Chef or Assistant Pastry Chef; working knowledge of confectionaries, cake design, chocolate arts, and plated desserts. High School Diploma or GED required; prefer Associate Degree in Baking/Pastry Arts. Familiarity with culinary etiquette, food service sanitation, baking fundamentals, nutrition, and safety. ServSafe Certification preferred.
