Position: Part-time Servers Needed for Upscale Independent Living Community on Ft. Monroe – no late nights!
About: The Server is responsible for courteously serving resident and guest meals, and for clean-up and resetting of dining room following meal service. Responsibilities include maintaining a good working knowledge of all dining room and kitchen responsibilities and procedures, understanding basic kitchen equipment operation, maintaining a clean work area, assisting residents with orders, providing beverage service, and attending required in-services and staff meetings.
Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma or GED; must be in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene; must be able to read and follow simple instructions; must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks; must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles; must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision; must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects; must be able to stand, walk, lift 50 lbs, and carry heavy objects; must be organized and willing to work well with other team members; must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
