Position: Overnight bread baker
About: The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group is seeking a Bread Baker to join their team. The role involves following the directions of the Executive Chef, Head Baker, and Pastry Chef to bake a variety of unique and standard breads, as well as laminated products, bagels, and other offerings. The Bread Baker will also be responsible for maintaining sanitation standards, communicating ordering and prep needs, handling large volume orders, and ensuring nightly restaurant closure and weekly deep cleaning tasks are met.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in baking and working with breads, laminated items, and other bakery products; strong knowledge of prep lists and recipes; ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining sanitation standards; excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and outside management; physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varied temperature environments; tolerance for potential allergens such as peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish
