Position: Operations – Kitchen Maintenance/Specialist
About: This position is for an Operations-Kitchen Specialist at Hoover City Schools. The role involves assisting in maintaining district facilities and structures by providing specialized maintenance services.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; five (5) years’ experience in the designated trade/skill area or a combination of training/experience; experience in school facility maintenance preferred; possess and maintain appropriate state or national card, certification, or licensure for the assigned trade or skill area as appropriate; possess and maintain a valid driver’s license; ability to read, interpret and/or follow plans, directions, and specifications; ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds; ability to work indoors and outdoors year-round in various conditions; ability to be punctual and in regular attendance
