Position: Nutritional Coordinator/Chef, Full time, New Hope for Families
About: New Hope for Families provides shelter and early learning programs that keep families together and lift children into a promising future. The organization’s Early Learning Center enrolls up to 48 children across 4 classrooms, focusing on child-centered care, Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP), and an innovative continuity of care model. They aim for excellence, holding a level 4 Paths to Quality and pursuing national accreditation. Half of the enrollment spots are reserved for families who have experienced homelessness. The ELC Chef and Nutritional Coordinator position is responsible for all aspects of food service, food delivery, and food programming at New Hope for Families.
Requirements: High school diploma; clear background check (paid for by New Hope for Families); negative drug screen (paid for by New Hope for Families); negative TB test results (paid for by New Hope for Families); ability to stand the majority of the day; ability to lift 50lbs
