Position: Nutrition Technician (Food Prep Tech)
About: The Nutrition Technician position involves preparing and serving meals in accordance with the Child Adult Care Food Program meal pattern requirements. Under the direction of the Center Manager, the Nutrition Technician is responsible for food orders, inventory management, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.
Requirements: A High School Diploma or equivalent and direct food preparation experience. Must possess knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform assigned functions responsibly. Ability to comprehend and implement recipes, operate commercial kitchen appliances, demonstrate effective organizational skills, and knowledge of health and safety practices for food preparation and clean-up. Must be able to prepare meals by allocated times, direct the work of others, and handle food items during preparation.
