About: The Valley view Public School District is seeking an individual to fill a Nutrition Services Kitchen Manager position. This position entails implementing Child Nutrition Programs in an individual school according to department policies, procedures, and methods in an organized and efficient manner while working within budget constraints. The manager must have excellent supervisory skills to instill a sense of teamwork and promote educational values, cooperate with school staff, maintain high standards of food preparation and service, ensure sanitation and safety, and manage records effectively.
Requirements: High school diploma/GED; working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; willingness to learn Point of Sale database systems; Department of Public Health Food Service Sanitation License; ability to lift/carry 40 lbs independently
