Position: NOW HIRING- Prep Cooks
About: Pinstripes is a venue with full bistro and patio, ballroom, bowling lanes, bocce courts and an all “from scratch” kitchen. We are actively hiring experienced line cooks, prep cooks, event cooks, and dishwashers to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes. In these positions, our principal goal is to prepare safe and high-quality meals that meet our chefs’ exact specifications. You will be responsible for setting up the dish area, prep, line stations, or event kitchen, preparing recipes, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and continued restaurant growth.
Requirements: Cooking: 1 year (Preferred); Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred); Schedule: Day shift & Night shift; Monday through Sunday availability; Weekend and Holiday availability; Kitchen dish/prep/line cook: 1 year (preferred); Illinois Food Handler license (required and obtainable during your training); Work authorization: United States (required); Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly or Twice monthly
