Position: Nicholas Markets – Sous Chef
About: A restaurant is looking for a Sous Chef with culinary, seafood, and meat experience preferred to join their team. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, assisting the Food Service Manager/Head Chef in daily operations, and maintaining a clean and organized department with a focus on product preparation and safety standards.
Requirements: Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English language; basic math skills; physical ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, lift weights up to 60 lbs, work in varying temperatures, and handle food products without allergic consequences; strong customer service and communication skills; familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
