Position: Monona Terrace Associate Director – Sales, Community and Event Services

About: Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison is seeking an Associate Director to join their team. This position involves overseeing various operational aspects of the center, including audio-visual services, sales, marketing, public and community relations, tourism, volunteer services, and event services. The center, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, hosts a diverse range of events and is a key economic and cultural asset in Madison.

Requirements: Three (3) years of directly related professional experience in managing sales, marketing, and event services programs in the convention, hotel, or hospitality industry; Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, business administration, public relations, hospitality, or a related field. Experience in community relations is a plus. Applicants without specific requirements may be considered based on equivalent experience in marketing, sales, event services, public relations, and related areas. Two (2) years of experience in relevant computer software and supervision and management principles. Strong multicultural community engagement skills are essential.
