Position: Middle School Assistant Manager II
About: The Anchorage School District is seeking a Middle School Assistant Manager II to assist in maintaining efficient operation of school cafeteria and kitchen areas, providing work direction to cafeteria employees, ensuring food safety and sanitation, record-keeping compliance, and adherence to state and federal requirements.
Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent; Two years of related work experience; Two years of responsible experience in large-scale food service operations; One year of supervisory experience; Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Basic math proficiency; Completion of the ASD Serving It Safe food safety class within 21 calendar days of hire; Preferred: Evidence of training staff in kitchen responsibilities, experience with food service point of sale and inventory management systems, previous experience as a food service manager.
