Position: Membership Services Representative
About: The Albany Jewish Community Center is seeking a part-time Member Service Representative to join their team during Monday-Friday operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, with sales experience being a plus, and must be outgoing, friendly, and enjoy working with people. This role requires good organizational skills, strong human relations skills, general knowledge of business procedures, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), the ability to work independently, willingness to adapt to change, and knowledge of Albany JCC operational procedures and programs. Establishing and maintaining harmonious relationships with staff, volunteers, members, and the community is essential for success in this position.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers); professional attitude and appearance; solid written and verbal communication skills; ability to be resourceful and proactive in issue resolution; excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills; experience working with individuals from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds; flexibility and adaptability to meet program needs; lifting and carrying
