Position: Marketing Events Manager
About: Zumiez is a leading specialty retailer with over 650 stores, offering apparel, footwear, accessories, and hard goods for young individuals expressing their individuality through action sports, street wear, music, and art. The company is located in Lynnwood, WA.
Requirements: BA/BS in Marketing related field or previous Zumiez experience; 3+ years of brand marketing and event experience in relevant industries (skate, snow, streetwear preferred); extensive knowledge of action sports lifestyle (skate, snow, music, and art), and market trends/opportunities; ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; solution and results oriented; detail oriented and strong follow-through; ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to tight deadlines; outstanding organizational and time management skills; ability to mentor, develop, and train Coordinators through teaching and learning; strong decision-making and problem-solving skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; willingness to travel (25-30%) and work over weekends and holidays when necessary; strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office/Teams, Google Docs, and social media platforms; valid driver’s license; able support on fulfillment/shipping as needed and able to lift 50+ lbs
