Position: Manager – The Crimson Panda
About: The University of Oklahoma Memorial Union is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee the overall operation, administration, and day-to-day performance of a campus restaurant within the Oklahoma Memorial Union. This role involves managing staff, including hiring, training, and performance reviews, as well as handling administrative duties and directly contributing to beverage and food service, cash handling, and maintaining compliance standards. The position requires adherence to store requirements, scheduling employees, ordering food, and enforcing sanitation policies. The role also involves providing information, clarifying policies and procedures, and resolving issues as they arise.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; 48 months of food service and restaurant supervision experience; Equivalent experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree; Strong communication and leadership skills; Commitment to nutrition and menu creativity; Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and competing priorities; Physical endurance for demanding responsibilities and exposure to various conditions; Availability to work extended hours and weekends as needed; Previous franchise leadership experience preferred
