Position: Local Non-CDL Driver- FT
About: Ward Trucking is seeking a Non-CDL Straight Truck Driver to join their team. The driver will report to the Service Center Manager and be responsible for providing efficient and safe pickup and delivery services while maintaining good customer relations. The role aims to exemplify Ward’s identity as a Pallet Expert in the marketplace.
Requirements: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record; must have or be able to obtain a current DOT physical card; must pass a company road test; must be at least 19 years old; knowledge of DOT regulations required; ability to handle paperwork and reports; willingness to serve customers; must meet company’s qualified drivers requirements; must work required hours; steel-toed shoes/boots required; must have a cooperative attitude; random drug testing may be required; ability to read gauges, exit and enter vehicle’s cab, handle physical demands like lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, climbing, and more
