Position: Local Furniture Delivery Driver
About: American Furniture Warehouse is seeking hard-working and highly motivated delivery drivers and delivery helpers to provide exceptional service by delivering, assembling, disassembling, and removing merchandise from customers’ homes. They offer a white-glove service, provide demonstrations on product use, and uphold company policies. This role is both demanding and rewarding, with starting pay at $25.00/hr and first-year drivers averaging $30.59-$41.65 per hour. Employees are paid weekly and receive sick pay, vacation time, and benefits like training and gym facilities at select locations.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; clean Motor Vehicle Record with 2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years; possession of a D.O.T. Physical card; ownership of hand tools; ability to work well in a team; proficiency with technology including Dispatch Track and iPad; physical stamina to handle furniture and work in a fast-paced environment; effective communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively; pass pre-employment screenings and exams.
