Position: LINE COOK | MARQUEE CLUB | PART TIME
About: The Fox Theatre in Atlanta is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Marquee Club Line Cook. The Line Cook will assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with the culinary operation of the Marquee Club, specialty Concession offerings, and in-house events and meetings. A successful candidate will have an innate desire to strive for excellence and consistently serve as a role model for service-focused behaviors according to The Fox mission, vision, and guest experience culture.
Requirements: 2 years of experience as a prep cook for high-volume catering is desired but not required; Must have demonstrated knowledge in: Preparing food, as directed; Maintaining a clean workstation at all times. Must have general knowledge in: Basic food production skills; Basic math skills. Must have the ability to take direction. Must have the ability to act respectfully under pressure. Must consistently demonstrate the ability to work respectfully and efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced, and quality-driven environment. Must be knowledgeable about and adhere to all Fox Theatre, local and state safety and sanitation policies, and procedures for culinary operation. Must assist in maintaining all kitchen equipment and daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules. Must work carving stations, action stations, and attended stations professionally. Must maintain high standards of personal hygiene at all times. Must be able to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Successful applicants must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check.
