Position: Line Cook job
About: MPCC is a culinary establishment that provides high-quality service and products to its members and guests, offering fine dining, fast family casual, and specialized events. Entry-level positions are available with training provided as needed.
Requirements: Deliver the MPCC experience for guests; Work with the culinary team to create an exemplary experience for members and their guests; Follow up with members and guests with additional services that enhance the overall experience; Handle requests personally and/or refer as appropriate; Demonstrate MPCC values when providing service and teamwork; Prepare and properly garnish all food orders in accordance with menu specifications; Craft and design specially featured menu items; Prepare sauces, soups, salads, and entrees in accordance with menu; Present food using proper plate presentation techniques as defined by the Culinary Leadership Team; Coordinate completion of menu items with server; Set up for meal periods by ensuring that stations are set up based upon anticipated volume as defined by Restaurant Supervisor; Adhere to club standards for safe food handling and storage; Keep equipment clean and in proper operating condition; Maintain cleanliness and stock coolers and storage areas; Complete food requisitions to maintain inventory items; Able to read, follow and direct orders, lists, and recipes; Culinary arts training or documented work history equivalent with demonstrated working knowledge of the kitchen, tools, and equipment; At least 2 years’ experience in a comparable position
