About: A line cook position is open at a local restaurant, responsible for daily food preparation in various kitchen stations. The establishment follows strict guidelines for food safety and quality standards, providing a dynamic and organized work environment for culinary enthusiasts.

Requirements: Must be 21 years or older; Sets up, stocks, and breaks down station according to restaurant guidelines; Prepares food items in a sanitary and timely manner; Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications; Maintains station with good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills; Properly labels, dates, and rotates food product; Ensures proper holding temperatures and reports issues to management; Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills; Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures; Familiarity with kitchen equipment use and maintenance; Minimum of 3 years of recent line cook experience; Must be able to communicate effectively in English; Ability to work in a team environment under pressure; Extensive knowledge of food preparation and presentation
