The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with other departments, adhere to kitchen regulations, and uphold high standards of kitchen organization and cleanliness.
Requirements: Works as a member of the restaurant team, interacting positively with all departments; follows management instructions; sets an example for punctuality, attendance, and uniform procedures; ensures compliance with internal and state regulations such as DOH/Food safety/HACCP/Beverage; maintains mise en place list daily; trains and guides kitchen staff to Company Standards; keeps recipe knowledge and section setup current; prepares food products according to prescribed methods; ensures proper storage and labeling of items; maintains station organization and cleanliness; upholds high food quality standards; checks and stores received products correctly; controls wastage; reports to kitchen management; fills out kitchen forms such as Prep list daily and inventory weekly; maintains equipment and utensils; oversees kitchen areas; supports rotation procedures and assists in training new cooks; keeps time labels up to date
