Position: Line Cook at Bradley Airport ($26.92/hr)
About: The Cook at our dining establishment provides guests with a supreme dining experience by preparing high-quality meals and ensuring exceptional dining experiences. Maintaining cleanliness in the food service area and adherence to recipe standards are top priorities in this role, along with creating a safe work environment. The Cook must be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and work well under pressure. Duties include exceeding service standards, following recipes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean work environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of cooking experience, the ability to work unsupervised, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; Training from a culinary school will be an asset; Minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience; Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions; Food handler’s card may be required; Able to work unsupervised and demonstrate good judgment; Ability to work various shifts in a team-oriented environment; Excellent customer service skills and effective communication; Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks; Adaptability to changing priorities and situations; Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics; Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform essential job functions; Standing for long periods and working in varying temperatures
