Position: LEAD PASTRY COOK
About: Pier Sixty , located in an undisclosed location, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pastry Chef to join their team. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating, preparing, and producing a variety of baked goods to contribute to overall guest satisfaction and uphold quality standards in the pastry department.
Requirements: High school diploma required; advance degree or specialized training highly desirable; bakery certificate or apprenticeship helpful; three to five years pastry and bakery experience required; skilled in preparing, producing, and decorating pastries and cakes; good working knowledge of sanitation standards; basic mathematical skills for recipe comprehension; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while providing excellent customer service; obtain government-required licenses or certificates; able to communicate effectively with team members, management, clients, and vendors; able to work independently or in a team setting; able to obtain Food Service Sanitation certificates; flexible schedule availability
