Position: Lead Cook – The Venetian Chop House – Caribe Royale Orlando Hotel
About: The Venetian Chop House is seeking a Lead Cook to support the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs in consistently delivering high-quality food, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, ensuring food safety, and upholding a positive work atmosphere.
Requirements: Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a four-diamond resort; Strong restaurant operations background; Outstanding guest services skills, professional presentation, and sophisticated communication skills; Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment; Food Safety certification; High School diploma or GED; Culinary degree preferred and at least 5 years’ experience in a Cook 3 or supervisory level in a hotel or restaurant; Ability to communicate in English (second language is a plus); Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques, and equipment operation; Willingness to work flexible schedules, including holidays and weekends; Ability to multitask and think clearly in high-stress situations
