Position: Kitchen Supervisor (Family Shelter)
About: The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor for the Houston Family Residence in Houston, Texas. The Kitchen Supervisor will oversee staff, cook and serve meals, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and manage inventory effectively.
Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D.; Two to three years of experience cooking for large groups, one year of prior supervisory experience; Valid State Driver’s License; Food Manager’s Certificate or ability to obtain within established timeframe; Ability to cook nutritional, tasteful, and safe food, follow instructions, lead and evaluate staff.
