Position: Kitchen Supervisor

About: The Aster Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee all kitchen activities and ensure the highest standards of food quality and service. The hotel values efficiency, consistency, and creativity in delivering elevated dishes to guests within a fast-paced and dynamic culinary environment.

Requirements: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar high-volume culinary environment; Proven supervisory experience in a kitchen setting; High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices; Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail; Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills; Culinary certification preferred; Proficiency in inventory management, food costing, and portion control; Ability to manage all stations on the line; Food Serve Safe certification; Strong leadership qualities and ability to build professional relationships with the team; Flexible schedule availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays; Creativity in recipe creation and presentation; Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Outlook, and design software like Canva; Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or in a team environment; Ability to handle physical requirements such as lifting 50 pounds, fast-paced movements, and environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
