Position: Kitchen Manager, St. Ben’s Community Meal, – Milwaukee, WI
About: Capuchin Community Services in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee the operations of St. Ben’s Community Meal program, providing nutritious meals to the community with efficiency and hospitality. The Kitchen Manager will work collaboratively with the Assistant Director to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and fulfillment of its ministry.
Requirements: BA in culinary arts or restaurant management, hospitality, or related field; 5 years of experience in food service management or equivalent combination of education and experience; Serv-Safe and Allergen Certifications; ability to conduct theoretical costing of food purchasing and labor; strong financial acumen; comprehensive knowledge of recipe creation and yield; effective supervision of staff and volunteers; flexibility to work weekends and holidays; capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds with assistance
