Position: Kitchen Manager / Restaurant Sous Chef
About: CONRAD’S Eat Drink Local is a fast-paced, high-volume, scratch-kitchen restaurant seeking an experienced and professional Sous Chef to join their management team. The position involves leading the line through peak shifts, assisting the Chef in implementing procedures, handling prep work, and contributing to banquet execution. The role includes a typical work week of 52-55 hours with 2 days off and requires availability for coverage during emergencies, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability necessary. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus for this role.
Requirements: Excellent communication and organizational skills; Aptitude for multi-tasking; Ability to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team; Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment preferred; Certification required by the County; Knowledge of restaurant best practices, cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
